Green tara

The symbolism of Green Tara encourages devotees to break free from dogmatic ways and embrace a fresh perspective. Additionally, she is always ready to move with alacrity to relieve the suffering of sentient life. As a result, in contrast with being locked in full lotus she sits in an open pose. Therefore, she is ready to spring into action when she is needed.

Guru Padmasambhava

Guru Rinpoche was an Indian Buddhist master who traveled to Tibet in the 8th Century. He is also known as Padmasambhava which is Sanskrit for “lotus born”. Although there is a historical record of Padmasambhava, not much is known of him. His most significant historical attribute was that he helped to construct Tibet’s first Buddhist monastery at Samye. The divine birth of Padmasambhava occurred when he appeared inside a lotus blossom as an eight year old child. Hence his name “lotus born”. The child was discovered by a king who asked him to identify his father, mother and caste. Padmasambhava proudly explained to the king that he was of divine origin when he stated: “My father is the self arisen Samantabhadra and my mother is the sphere of reality Samantabhadri. My caste is the union of primordial reality and the dhammadhatu (Realm of Phenomenon) and my name is the glorious Samantabhadra.”

21 Tara

The concept of the 21 Taras in Tibetan Buddhism is a deeply revered and effective practice that holds immense value for practitioners. Each Tara represents a specific aspect or quality, and they are considered emanations of Tara, the mother of all Buddhas. The 21 Taras are depicted in various colors, and postures, with distinct attributes, symbolizing their unique characteristics and powers. Devotees invoke the specific Tara or Taras that align with their needs, seeking their protection, guidance, and support on their spiritual path. The practice involves chanting the mantras associated with each Tara to establish a profound connection with their compassionate energy. The 21 Taras are known for their swift response to the needs of individuals, providing remedies for fears, obstacles, and negative emotions, while also nurturing qualities like compassion, wisdom, and fearlessness.

Medicine Buddha

Bhaisajyaguru is known as Medicine Buddha. He is also called the healing Buddha. He is said to dispense spiritual medicine when properly worshiped. It is even believed that an efficacious cure may be accomplished by merely touching the image. Medicine Buddha is the popular term for Bhaisajyaguru and refers to healing blue light transmitted by his representation and conception. Bhaisajyaguru means "Master of Blue Light". His healing energy is transmitted through blue light wave length called Vaydurya light. Medicine Buddha radiates this healing energy.
